For the active amongst you, Rockley Watersports run sailing courses, approved by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) offering the ideal way to enjoy the fresh air and warm waters at La Reserve. At the end of the course, you’ll get an RYA level qualification and admiring stares from your envious friends.

Sailing

Dinghy sailing can provide anything from gentle cruise to high-speed thrills and spills. Our excellent Instructors and extensive range of boats can cater for everthing from the very basics to high performance sailing and club racing. With courses for juniors and adults, over a range of topics, from beginner to racing and seamanship to spinnakers we aim to have something to offer everyone.

Windsurfing

From your first tentative steps to the sheer exhilaration of blasting along in the footstraps and harness there are few sports more addictive. With a quality range of equipment, where better to develop your skills.

La Reserve is ideally located to offer beginner courses for children over 10 years to adults. The water is shallow and the beaches sandy and of course when you fall in, the water is lovely and warm! Adults and juniors are taught on our range of stable beginner boards. Teaching sessions include simulator work on land and plenty of on-water coaching to ensure your skills develop quickly. This course is often the start of a lifelong love of this thrilling and invigorating sport.

Powerboating

Powerboating can be highly exhilarating and great fun. With more and more people looking at buying their own boat it is essential to get a bit of experience first. The 1 or 2 day courses provide an introduction to powerboat handling at both high and low speeds. Rockley can also offer the International Certificate of Competence (ICC), a necessity if using a powerboat on the continent. You must be 14 or over to book on the course.
