tips for travelling with a disability

At siblu holidays, we believe that organizing the perfect holiday should be straightforward and enjoyable. We understand that if you’re a wheelchair user or have a disability, holidaying abroad can be a little challenging. From the moment you speak to one of our knowledgeable reservations advisors, to when you’re on-parc enjoying your holiday, you’ll find an outstanding attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of your needs.

Therefore, we always advise guests with disabilities to talk to us first before making a booking. Some parcs or accommodation may not be suitable for particular needs, so give us a call to make sure that you get the most of your holiday.

Easy Access - Specially adapted holiday home accommodation
8 of our siblu parcs have holiday homes laid out specifically for wheelchair users. The rooms are bigger than in standard holiday homes and there is easy access to and from the accommodation. The homes are designed to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible.

Children’s Entertainment
All our children's clubs have a great choice of activities to suit all participants.
Zoe Gasson (Childrens’ Club Coordinator) received a fantastic compliment letter from Dr Alison Kraus for assisting her daughter Cara, who has Down’s Syndrome, in the Bubbles Club. Dr Kraus said Zoe was ‘always one step ahead and helped in such a sensitive way. . . and showed professionalism in accommodating her special needs in the group.’

Swimming Activities
Our parcs have fantastic swimming pool complexes and we ensure that our siblu parcs are always fully supervised by trained lifeguards. The pools are operated to the highest of standards taken from both French and English Health and Safety criteria - demonstrating our commitment in ensuring our families and guests can enjoy their holiday in a safe environment.
