campsites on the venetian riviera
20 miles from Venice, our Venetian Riviera campsite is the choice for the water lovers. With its winding canals and gondolas, this region is romantic and mysterious, and if you can cope with the occasional whiff from the canals (only when it's very hot!) it's a must-visit destination. You can even venture out by boat and explore islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello and also to those pretty fishing ports and towns offering Venetian glass and lace making. There's also a wonderful resort in this region of Italy with a wide golden beach which is also a must-do for water sport lovers. Water parks, a lagoon and historic old towns with Romanesque-gothic architecture add more (but not all) to the allure of this interesting region.
